Newcastle Airport arrival and approach flight path consultation

Consultation: 10th March 2017 – 2nd June 2017.

Newcastle Airport intends to modernise the flight procedures used by arriving aircraft by implementing Area Navigation (RNAV) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Approaches, for runways 07 and 25, and Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARS). Newcastle Airport states the new routes will deliver greater fuel savings, reduce emissions and improve the noise environment for people on the ground.
