ITAérea Aeronautical Business School has joined GATCO as a corporate member after its application was unanimously accepted during the January EB meeting. ITAérea is an international business school specialised in airport and aeronautical management with worldwide presence and over 300 lecturers drawn from senior management within the aviation and ATM industries.

ITAérea’s formative courses are aimed at both aviation and ATM managers and professionals looking to further their careers in the industry. Their training programmes include undergraduate and postgraduate courses, training seminars and one-day events in three languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese.

ITAérea is strategic partner of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR),, and the International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Mérida, Mexico (CIFAL) and aims to foster the development of training for worldwide managers in the aviation and ATM industries.

In particular, ITAérea delivers an online Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management (MATSM), aimed at professionals of the aviation and ATM industries. This one-year postgraduate programme has been developed in accordance with the aims and objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

To initiate our collaboration, GATCO is very pleased to announce the following:

  • ITAérea, GATCO and the Royal Aeronautical Society are hosting a half-day event on the 24th of April at the Royal Aeronautical Society headquarters in London on “The future of Air Traffic Management in Europe and the role of the air traffic controller”. The event will give attendees the opportunity to hear the views of senior managers of the European aviation and ATM industries.
