Temporary Danger Area at Goodwood aerodrome.

Consultation: 23 December 2020 – 15 January 2021.

This consultation is about a project that intends to gradually demonstrate that UAV Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLoS) operations in non-segregated airspace are safe, can meet with regulatory approval, and integrate seamlessly with manned aviation, whilst still providing safe and efficient access to the airspace by all airspace users. For the first phase, the project is proposing a Temporary Danger Area (TDA) at Goodwood Aerodrome. This is to provide segregated airspace protection whilst the safety assurances for BVLOS operations in non-segregated airspace are developed.
