Consultation: 9th March 2017 – 9th June 2017.

Exeter Airport proposes to establish Class D controlled airspace around the existing Aerodrome Traffic Zone (ATZ) and introduce new rules, aiming to maintain safety for all air users and to allow for more efficient handling of aircraft. Exeter Airport states the new airspace could help achieve more continuous descents and climbs for inbound and outbound commercial aircraft, reducing noise, fuel consumption and emissions.
