Consultation: 17th December 2019 – 3rd March 2020.
The CAA would like stakeholders to help them identify volumes of controlled airspace in which the classification could be amended to better reflect the needs of all airspace users on an equitable basis. Three more stages will follow this consultation: shortlisting of volumes of airspace, developing a regulatory framework for airspace classification amendment and developing solutions to enable airspace reclassification.
