Consultation: 14th June 2017 – 23rd September 2017.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is proposing new departure and arrival routes using satellite-based technology which will enable to manage the airspace in the vicinity of the airport more accurately and efficiently. The navigation aids in the west of Scotland are scheduled to be removed next year in favour of satellite-based system, triggering the modernisation of departure and arrival procedures so they are compatible with the new technology.
